Bengal Shristi Infrastructure Development Limited is an Infrastructure Development
Company, promoted jointly by
Asansol Durgapur Development Authority (Govt. of West Bengal) and Shristi Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (Shristi),
in line with the approved Government model for Public Private Partnership.
Bengal Shristi was formed on February 12, 2001 in Durgapur and the Hon’ble former Chief Minister
Shri Jyoti Basu was present for the launch function.
The foundation stone of the signature project – Durgapur City Centre was laid on January 12, 2002
by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee.
Bengal Shristi’s unique signature project Durgapur City Centre – a multi-utility urban plaza is complete.
The organization is now in the process of developing an Integrated Green Township - Shristinagar at Asansol
and the first Highway Hub cum Transport Terminal at Raniganj in West Bengal.
Bengal Shristi believes in making the most of the well-established resources of Asansol Durgapur Development
Authority and Shristi, with a view to create quality infrastructure in West Bengal. The mission of the
organization is to herald the all round development of the States’s prime industrial belt covering Durgapur,
Raniganj and Asansol.
